Here's How to Create your Table of Contents in WordPress Posts and Pages
Let's get started creating your Table of Contents in just a few easy steps:
1. Install BEAVER BUILDER Plugin
Make sure you have the Beaver Builder page builder installed and activated.
2. Install UABB Plugin
Go to PLUGINS > ADD NEW and install this plugin.
3. Click on NEW > POST
Create a new post (you can also display your table of contents on a page, event, portfolio, product, etc.).
4. Click LAUNCH BEAVER BUILDER
This will open up the Beaver Builder editor so that you can edit your post.
5. Add Headings to Your Content
Copy and paste your blog post headings and content from your saved document into each of your HEADINGS and TEXT modules.
PRO TIP: Use a program like Google Docs to write your blog post content so that your article is saved automatically as you write and you don't have to worry about losing your work.
6. Go to MODULES > UABB
From the Beaver Builder editor, go to the UABB module and scroll down to the TABLE OF CONTENTS module; click and drag the module into your post.
7. Customize the TABLE OF CONTENTS module
Choose which headings you wish to display in your table of contents: H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6 or a combination of them.
Don't forget to save your changes by clicking on the DONE button in the upper right hand corner and either SAVE DRAFT or PUBLISH.
