How To Add a Blog To Your WordPress Website

>> You should assume that I have an affiliate relationship and/or another material connection, to any suppliers of goods and services that may be discussed here, and may be compensated for showing ads or recommending products or services, or linking to the supplier's website. That means if you make a purchase, I get paid a few bucks to support my fancy coffee habit. :)

In today's video, I show you how to add a blog page to your WordPress website.

If you have your blog posts set to appear on your home page, I show you how to easily create a separate blog page for your blog posts and assign a different static page to your home page.

Here's how to easily add a blog page to your WordPress website in just a few easy steps:

  1. Login to your WordPress website and from the top bar menu click on +NEW > PAGE.
  2. Name the page. In this example, I named it "blog".
  3. PUBLISH your page.
  4. Go to SETTINGS > READING
  5. Set the Posts Page to the page that you want your blog posts to appear on "blog". Set the Home Page to the page that you want to appear on the home page. In my example, I used the "about" page.

That's it!

Once you have created a new page and assigned it to your Posts Page, all of your blog posts will appear there.

In addition, once you assign a page as your Home page, it will appear as the front page of your website.
